Playing through with Baccarat

Baccarat compares two hands, Player and Banker, with the total closest to nine winning. The cards are dealt automatically; your decision is which outcome to back.

Why use it for playthrough

Standard commission Baccarat has a simple, low-house-edge choice: bet Banker every hand. Do not confuse that with a winning system. Short sessions can still swing either way.

Set it up for lower volatility

Use the smallest workable bet and choose Banker, sometimes labelled Bank, on each hand. Avoid Tie and side bets. Do not change sides to follow a streak; past hands do not affect the next deal.

Check whether the table is standard commission Baccarat or a no-commission variant. The usual Banker recommendation assumes ordinary commission rules; some no-commission tables change payouts on particular Banker wins. Read that table's rules before using it for playthrough.

Expected retention

In ordinary commission Baccarat, Banker and Player have long-run returns around 98.8%-98.9%; Tie is much lower. Banker is normally preferred, but the table's own rules control.

Time and pace

Baccarat needs very little decision-making and is usually faster than manual Blackjack. It can therefore be a practical alternative when you do not want to apply a chart hand by hand. A fast table also makes it easy to bet more rounds than intended, so set the round count first.

Use GC first if the table layout is unfamiliar. Whether SC came from a bonus or discounted package, use the fixed low Banker bet and stop when the requirement is met.
